Position G01: Junior Digital/Graphic Designer
Position Location: Heraklion, Crete
Cloud Services Company (Oxygen Pelatologio) is searching for skilled and talented engineers to develop and maintain our organization’s web (SaaS) products and services.
Cloud Services company is one of few Certified companies by AADE to provider electronic invoicing in Greece (myDATA). Through its Saas software, Oxygen Pelatologio (oxygen.gr), which is a business software CRM/ERP, it particularly focuses on electronic invoicing, cloud cashier/POS, online payments, e-shop integrations, and the broader management of businesses.
The Company has its headquarters in STEP-C at the Foundation of Research and Technology Park (FORTH) in Heraklion, Crete.
We are in search of a Junior Digital/Graphic Designer who has a thorough understanding of visual hierarchy and the principles of information design, and can effectively implement these in work assignments. The ideal candidate will craft visuals inline with the business/project goal and strike the right balance between design and business.
A strong sense of design, consistent layouts, and a focus on detail are essential qualities for this role.
The candidate must be organized, capable of working under deadlines, and efficient both in teamwork and individual settings.
The job involves creating visual materials for the company and addressing all the marketing needs of the company based on the given creative briefs, including the design of website banners, email newsletters, and social media content.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging digital artwork of all scope, including Google Ad campaigns, content for Social Media posts and newsletter campaigns.
- Be a part of a dynamic Marketing team and collaborate closely with Engineering and Customer Support teams in order to create stunning visuals that effectively communicate their message
- Keep up-to-date with current digital trends and suggest new ideas to enhance the digital strategy
- Design original pieces including illustrations and Infographics
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in graphic design, with print and digital experience.
- Experience in using graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Greek
- Portfolio showcasing print and digital/social media work.
- Experience in Social Media and Google campaign projects
- Good understanding of key online marketing principles
- A great eye for detail and creativity
- Passionate about creating stunning visuals that reflect our company strategy and promote our products
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with After Effects (for animated content) will be appreciated
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- University degree level in relevant field
