Position Location: Heraklion, Crete
Oxygen Pelatologio is one of the first companies certified by AADE to provide electronic invoicing in Greece (myDATA). Through its SaaS platform, Oxygen Pelatologio (oxygen.gr) offers a CRM/ERP solution, specializing in electronic invoicing, cloud cash registers/POS, online payments, e-shop integrations, and business management.
Oxygen’s headquarters are in STEP-C at the Foundation of Research and Technology Park (FORTH) in Heraklion, Crete.
As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in daily supporting our People’s Department operations while actively contributing to preserving and strengthening our culture, creating a work environment where people feel supported, appreciated, and inspired to grow with us.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is excited to work at the heart of a fast-growing team, with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting people and improving processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process (preparation of documentation, welcome kits, exit forms, etc.)
- Maintain and update employee records (digital and hard copies)
- Handle basic HR reporting (e.g. attendance, time-off tracking, remotes, birthdays, reviews, anniversaries, etc.)
- Contribute to the creation and documentation of an internal knowledge base/intranet to help employees navigate company policies and processes
- Support the creation & post job descriptions
- Check screen CVs and define the shortlist
- Schedule and coordinate interviews and also conduct phone interviews
- Contribute to the creation of Learning & Development programm
- Support the coordination of Performance Review & Feedback cycles.
- Assist in the organization of internal events like our strategy meetings
- Assist in the organization of team-building activities
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
- Actively contribute to the development of a healthy and engaging work environment
- Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and strengthen company culture
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Previous internship or experience in HR or office administration is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow in the HR field
- Team-player with a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent active listening
- Trustworthy and discreet, with strong integrity and the ability to manage confidential matters with professionalism.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to handle challenging discussions, from negotiations to sensitive employee matters, with professionalism and empathy.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently under pressure
- Positive attitude and a willingness to support various team needs
- Fluency in Greek & English (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail)
